This workshop aims to provide therapists an understanding of how to treat women during peri menopause and menopause.
This workshop will support your understanding of menopause and will give you scientific facts and education on menopause.
When you complete this training you will have a unique advantage as a reflexologist as you will be fully equipped to nurture your clients through what can be a challenging phase of life for many women.
This is a comprehensive 1 day post-graduate certificate programme delivered in-person.

At the end of this training you will have a comprehensive understanding of menopause, we will cover:-
- What is Peri-menopause
- What is menopause
- The Reproductive System
- What are Hormones
- Hormone Replacement Therapy
- Natural Solutions
- How Reflexology helps
- The importance of good nutrition during this time.
You will also have an opportunity to practice reflexology and learn some new techniques, we will:-
- Revisit the endocrine system
- Discuss and explore how to work the endocrine/reproductive points during menopause
- Intake form and consultation techniques to help you plan your reflexology treatments
- How menopause can affect your clients emotionally and physically,
- Some advanced techniques to work the nervous system. Tapping into the parasympathetic nervous system.
- Home-care points
- An introduction to a unique 12 week menopause coaching programme run by Maureen, MF Wellness.

Maureen Fynes MNRRI
Maureen is the principal of MF Wellness School of Reflexology. She has been practicing reflexology for over a decade and teaches the NRRI accredited Diploma in Reflexology and well as a number of postgraduate trainings, including, hand reflexology, child and baby reflexology, reflexology for cancer care, and reflexology for fertility, maternity and menopause reflexology. She is based in Loughrea Co Galway.
